Join us for a fun and informative online event: Toronto Noise Bylaw Info Sessions. One of the most effective ways you can make a difference and have your voice heard is to “depute” at a City Committee Meeting. It is as simple as telling your story.

On January 11, 2024 you will have an opportunity to share your story (virtually or in person) with the Economic and Community Development Committe, who is responsible for the City of Toronto’s Noise Bylaws.

We are pleased to have a special guest and seasoned “deputer”, Alison Stewart, Director of Advocacy and Public Policy from Cycle Toronto. She will walk us through the process on how to share your views at City Hall in a positive and productive way. It can be as simple as sharing your personal story and what solutions and initiatives you would like the city to consider.

No More Noise Toronto’s goal is to help develop an educated and energetic public advocating for stronger and better noise bylaws which will be finalized early 2024.

The health and happiness of many Torontonians is being adversely affected by unnecessary noise; this is a very serious public health issue. The time is now to learn more about what you can do and how you can make your voice be heard by Toronto’s City Council!

These bylaws won’t be reviewed again for quite a while. Let’s take back our soundscape.
