Please join us at our second 23/24 speaker series event. All are welcome. Our hope is to discuss issues of concern.
What’s really happening in our community? In the iconic words of Marvin Gaye, “Mother, mother, there are too many of you crying. Father, father, there are far too many of you dying. You know we’ve got to find a way to bring some loving here, today. Just talk to me so you can see, what’s going on, what’s going on.”
Our Speakers:
- Mitch Panciuk was Mayor of Belleville through COVID and helped the city begin to struggle with the many social problems that resulted or worsened as the pandemic changed our lives.
- Natalie O’Toole Is Public Education Coordinator at Three Oaks, which offers an emergency shelter and services in Belleville for abused women and their children.
- Ashley Bader works at Grace Inn Shelter in Belleville for adults experiencing homelessness. Its focus is to help those in need, with basic human dignity.
- PEC’s Vital Signs (pending confirmation)
